Template:eu-decl-both/documentation

This template contains the necessary meta-data to allow users who are using accelerated editing to create any grammatical forms semi-automatically.

This template can generate declension tables for Basque nouns that can be both animate and inanimate. It works fully automatically, unlike previous templates. However, there are a few cases in which some parameters must be entered manually, they are detailed bellow.

Parameters

• |dip=

  If the word is monosyllabic and ends in a diphthong, add this parameter with any value.

• |gau=

  If the word is gau (“night”) (or a compound with gau as its last element), add this parameter with any value; instead of the previous one.

• |tap=

  Some words ending in -r have an underlying final flap /-ɾ/. If the word has an underlying final flap, add this parameter with any value. A list of such words can be found here.
