This template has been largely supplanted by listing emoji characters in Module:character info.

For other pages, place an emoji in this template and it will display in both its text and emoji forms, assuming browser font support. An unlabeled parameter will be treated as the emoji to be displayed. Otherwise the page name will be treated as the emoji.

By default, the template floats at right. "direction=X" may be added to change that behavior. This template tends to disrupt surrounding text, so {{clear}} or similar adjustment may be needed.
