Documentation for Template:egy-det. [edit]
This page contains usage information, categories, interwiki links and other content describing the template.

This template should be used just under the 'Determiner' header for Egyptian determiners, specifying the hieroglyphic writing. If they are demonstrative determiners, it should also specify the gender, number, and deictics.

Basic usage is

  • {{egy-det|head=<hiero></hiero>}} for non-demonstrative determiners, and
  • {{egy-det|gender-number|deictics|head=<hiero></hiero>}} for demonstrative determiners.

Parameters

[edit]
|head=
Specify the hieroglyphic writing here, enclosed in WikiHiero tags (<hiero></hiero>).
|head2=
An alternative hieroglyphic writing; preferably do not use this, but use an ‘Alternative forms’ subheader with {{egy-hieroforms}} instead.
|cat2=
An optional second part-of-speech category for the word; see {{head}}.
