Usage

[edit]

This template generates headword-lines for Lower Sorbian nouns. It should only be used at the lemma entry, which is usually at the singular nominative form.

  • Mandatory unnamed arguments:
    1. The gender and animacy, m-pr for masculine personal, f-anml for feminine animal, n-in for neuter inanimate, or in-p for inanimate plural, for pluralia tantum. The gender codes are m (masculine), f (feminine) and n (neuter). The animacy codes are pr (personal), anml (animal) and in (inanimate). Animacy is present because it affects adjectival agreement patterns in the singular and plural.
  • Optional named arguments:
    • |gen= — the genitive (if irregular)
    • |du= — the dual (if irregular)
    • |pl= — the plural (if irregular)
    • |genpl= — the genitive plural (if irregular)
    • |dim= — the diminutive (if any)
    • |f= — the feminine equivalent (if any; only applicable if gender is m)
    • |m= — the masculine equivalent (if any; only applicable if gender is f)
