Usage

[edit]

This template creates a declension table for Lower Sorbian masculine nouns belonging to class 17 and using the now obsolete spelling conventions of Ernst Muka/Mucke (St. Petersburg and Prague 1911–28): Słownik dolnoserbskeje rěcy a jeje narěcow / Wörterbuch der nieder-wendischen Sprache und ihrer Dialekte (reprinted 2008, Bautzen: Domowina-Verlag).

Class 17 includes those masculine nouns ending in:

  • -b (genitive in -ba)
  • -f
  • -m
  • -n
  • -p (genitive in -pa)
  • -r
  • -w (genitive in -wa).

It takes two obligatory parameters: the first parameter is the first part of the noun before the final consonant, and the second parameter is the final consonant (one of b, f, m, n, p, r, or w). In addition the optional parameter |animate=1 must be set for animate nouns whose accusative has the same form as the genitive.

For example, for the inanimate word cŕop, add:

====Declension====
{{dsb-decl-noun-17-obs|cŕo|p}}

For the class 17 animate word nan, add:

====Declension====
{{dsb-decl-noun-17-obs|na|n|animate=1}}
