Template:compoundsee/documentation

This template is used to display a list of compounds that are derived from a term in that term's "Derived terms" section.

It assumes the existence of a category of compound terms with a name based on the parameters given and lists all the terms in this category. It also links to this category. The pattern is Category:<language name (not code)> compound <part of speech (plural)> with <term>. For example, using {{compoundsee|fa|pos=verb}} in the Persian "Derived terms" section at دادن lists terms in Category:Persian compound verbs with دادن.

It is implemented using Module:affix/templates.

Parameters

|1= (required)

The language code of the language that the term is in.

|2= or |head= (optional)

The term. Defaults to the title of the page the template is used on.

|sc= (optional)

The script code of the script that the term is written in.

|pos= (optional)

The part of speech of the term. Defaults to the word term.
