This makes a compass rose, to be filled with arbirary terms, such as countries in the respective directions. This is not intended for "compass point" lists such as {{list:compass points/en}}
, which should instead use the following:

Parameters

(required)- Language code.
|n=
- Comma-separated value(s) displayed at the northern tip of the compass rose. Separate multiple values with a comma, not followed by a space. Inline modifiers are allowed on each term; see
{{col}}
for more details. |ne=
- Comma-separated value(s) displayed at the northeastern tip of the compass rose.
|e=
- Comma-separated value(s) displayed at the eastern tip of the compass rose.
|se=
- Comma-separated value(s) displayed at the southeastern tip of the compass rose.
|s=
- Comma-separated value(s) displayed at the southern tip of the compass rose.
|sw=
- Comma-separated value(s) displayed at the southwestern tip of the compass rose.
|w=
- Comma-separated value(s) displayed at the western tip of the compass rose.
|nw=
- Comma-separated value(s) displayed at the northwestern tip of the compass rose.
It is recommended to specify the directions in the order given above, which goes clockwise around the compass circle starting at the north.
