Uses Lua:
This template is used to form the level-two header of citations on citations pages. Please do not use it in entries (in the main namespace).
Parameters
It recognizes up to seven parameters, all optional: a language code, up to five unnamed (positional) parameters for entries, and "ct" for the context.
|1=
The language of the citation, represented by a language code. The parameter|lang=
is a deprecated synonym for this parameter; please do not use. If this is used, all numbered parameters move down by one.|2=
The entry to be linked. If empty or omitted, the entry is equal to the page name without the "Citations:" prefix.|3=
A second entry to be linked.|4=
A third entry to be linked.|5=
A fourth entry to be linked.|6=
A fifth entry to be linked.|ct=
The context of a word, in case it is outside the main namespace. For example, "Harry Potter".
Categorization
- Using this template in a "Citations:" page result in categorizing it into a category of citations of the respective language (e.g., Category:English citations, Category:Portuguese citations).
- In addition, using this template in a "Citations:" linking to an entry which does not exist result in categorizing it into Category:English citations of undefined terms, Category:French citations of undefined terms, etc. according to the appropriate language.
