Headword-line template for American Sign Language entries.

Usage

Basic usage:

{{ase-head|PART OF SPEECH|gloss=GLOSS}}

All available parameters:

|1=

Part of speech. Any POS name or code accepted by {{head}} can be used - see Template:head#Part of speech.

|gloss=

The sign gloss.

|gloss2=, |gloss3=, ...

Additional sign glosses. Up to 6 can be specified.

|image=

The filename of an image hosted on Wikimedia Commons that depicts the sign production.

|index=

An index letter for sorting the entry in categories.

Entries with missing image and/or gloss will be categorised in Category:Requests for cleanup (American Sign Language headword line).
