Parameters

[edit]

Mandatory parameters

[edit]

The following parameters are mandatory:

  1. |stem= specifies the stem of the verb. (e.g. "G", "D", "Gtn", etc)
  2. |root= specifies the root of the verb. (e.g. "p-r-s")
  3. |class= specifies the vocalic class of the verb. (e.g. "a-u")

The allowed values for |class= are:

  1. a-u
  2. a-i
  3. a
  4. i
  5. u

Note that it is not necessary to specify the class for III-weak verbs. Currently, the only supported stem is the G-stem.

Stems can be overriden using the following parameters:

  1. |dur1= (overrides the entire durative stem)

  3. |pert1= (overrides the entire preterite stem)
  4. |pret2= (overrides only 2.sg.f, 2.pl, 3.pl.f and 3.pl.m)

  9. |inf= (overrides the infinitive stem)

This can be used with irregular verbs to specify their irregular stems without having to write an entire table manually.
