This template is used to quote sentences. Use {{R:tpw:Dicionário de Trier}} for citing entries in the dictionary.

Parameters

|1= — Entry in the dictionary. You can use either the Portuguese or Old Tupi entries, but the Portuguese ones are easier to search.
|2= — The original page of the manuscript. Use |page2= for the transcribed page and to create a link to the copy in Internet Archive.
|3= — Column.
|4= — Line.
|5=, |text=, or |passage= – the passage to be quoted. Use the original spelling.
|6= — Normalization.
|7= — Transçation to English.
