is the English translation, preferably taken from the King James Version, as that version is in the public domain and, like the Gothic, is a fairly literal translation of the Greek original, meaning that it usually matches up very well with the Gothic. If the KJV translation does not match up well with the Gothic, you can use a different Bible translation or translate the Gothic directly yourself. At any rate, please indicate the English language version in parentheses after the translation.|lit=
