This template is used for quoting the original 1938 version of Barren Lives, available on Wikimedia Commons. The use of the original spelling for both the quote and the chapter name is strongly prefered:

{{{trans-chapter}}}: an English translation to the chapter name.
{{{2}}}, {{{page}}} or {{{pages}}}: page number(s)
{{{3}}} or {{{text}}}: the quoted text, in Portuguese.
{{{4}}} or {{{t}}}: an English translation to the quote.
