[edit]

This is a template used to format English quotations from Sir Thomas Malory's Le Morte Darthur (also known as Le Morte d'Arthur) provided by the University of Michigan Humanities Text Initiative.

See also: {{Template:RQ:Malory Le Morte Darthur}}.

The template must be used with either three or four parameters. The version with three parameters is used for linking to a particular book, of which there are 21:

|1= is a decimal number that links to the book, for example, 8.
|2= is the number 1.
|3= or |book= is the book number, for example, I or XI.
|passage= the cited passage
|t= or |translation= the passage translated into Modern English
|termlang= should be enm when citing a Middle English term; by default it is set to en for citing (modern) English terms
Example

The version with four parameters is used for linking to a particular capitulum or chapter of a book:

|1= are two decimal numbers separate by a period that link to the chapter, for example, 8.11.
|2= is the number 2.
|3= or |book= is the book number, for example, I or XI.
|4= or |chapter= is the chapter number, for example, XI.
|passage= the cited passage
|t= or |translation= the passage translated into Modern English
|termlang= should be enm when citing a Middle English term; by default it is set to en for citing (modern) English terms
