Usage

This template may be used in "References" and "Further reading" sections and on talk pages to cite Vida Beinortienė (2011) Romų kalba [Roma Language]‎^[1] (overall work in Lithuanian), Panevėžio Vaikų Dienos Užimtumo Centras [Panevėžys Children's Day Care Center], →ISBN as well as to quote passages.

Parameters

The template takes the following positional and named parameters:

• |1= or |lang= - the language code indicating the language of the entry or quoted text, see Wiktionary:List of languages
• |entry= - an entry in the dictionary
• |section= or |chapter= - the relevant section/chapter to be referenced
• |page= - the relevant page(s) to be referenced
• |text= or |passage= - a word or passage quoted from the book
• |t= - the English translation of the quoted word or passage
• |quote=1 - to use the {{quote-book}} template instead of the default {{cite-book}}. This is needed to format the quoted passage for Wiktionary:Quotations correctly. Do not use this parameter otherwise
