Template:R:gl:DIGALEGO/documentation
Usage
[edit]This template is to be used in a page's "Further reading" or "References" section, and be always preceded by an asterisk (*) so it appears as a bullet point.
By default, the template will use the DIGALEGO website's search feature to locate an entry matching page title. For example, using *{{R:gl:DIGALEGO}}
in cabeza will make it behave as if the reader went to the website and typed in "cabeza" on the search bar, thereby leading to this page.
The first parameter serves to look for a word different from the one in the page title. This may be useful for alternative forms and for using the template outside the mainspace. Take *{{R:gl:DIGALEGO|mariscada}}
for instance. Regardless of where it is used, it will display as the following:
- “mariscada” in DIGALEGO - Dicionario de Galego, Ir Indo 2004, Xunta de Galicia 2013.
Sometimes, however, if a word has diacritics, even though the entry might exist in the dictionary, the search tool will still be unable to find it for one reason or another. For this purpose, you can directly type in the ID of the word in the second parameter, as in sociolingüística, where the reference to DIGALEGO was declared through *{{R:gl:DIGALEGO||58973}}
. This will directly link to the ID'd page and completely circumvent the search feature. This has an extra benefit of leading to faster loading times.
