Usage
[edit]This template may be used in "References" and "Further reading" sections, and on talk pages, to cite editions of the Juba to Jive: A Dictionary of African-American Slang.
Parameters
[edit]The template takes the following positional or named parameters:
|entry=
– the entry in the dictionary to be cited.|page=
- the page in the dictionary to be cited.- For multiple pages use
|pages=
and separate the first and last pages of the range with an en dash, like this:|pages=110–111
. - For multiple pages you must also use
|pageref=
to specify the page number that the template should link to (usually the page on which the Wiktionary entry appears).
- For multiple pages use
|passage=
– a passage of the dictionary to quote.|chapter=
- the chapter of the dictionary where the referenced pages belong, such as the "Introduction".
