Usage

This template can be used in the "References" section of an entry to provide a citation for Joseph Sargent Hall's The Phonetics of Great Smoky Mountain Speech, published by King's Crown Press in 1942. No online version of this work is currently freely available.

Parameters

The template takes the following parameters:

  • |1=, |chapter= – the chapter cited, either its number in Arabic numerals (any value from |chapter=1 to |chapter=3) or manually entered.
  • |2=, |section=, or |sections= – the section number(s) cited in Arabic numerals.
  • |3=, |page=, or |pages= – the number(s) of the page(s) cited as a reference.
  • |4=, |text=, or |passage= – a passage cited from the source.
  • |nodot= – by default, the template adds a full stop (period) at the end of the citation. To suppress this punctuation, use |nodot=1 or |nodot=yes.
