Usage
[edit]This template may be used in "References" and "Further reading" sections, and on talk pages, to cite editions of the Dictionary of American Regional English.
Parameters
[edit]The template takes the following positional or named parameters:

or|volume=
– the volume of the Dictionary to be cited.|2=
or|entry=
– the entry in the Dictionary to be cited. If this parameter is omitted, the template uses the name of the Wiktionary entry.|3=
,|pos=
, or|part of speech=
– the part of speech of the entry being cited.|4=
,|no=
,|sense number=
- the number of the specific sense being cited if there are multiple senses in the entry.|5=
,|page=
- For multiple pages use
|pages=
and separate the first and last pages of the range with an en dash, like this:|pages=110–111
. - For multiple pages, you must also use
|pageref=
to specify the page number that the template should link to (usually the page on which the Wiktionary entry appears).
- For multiple pages use
|6=

, or|passage=
– a passage of the dictionary to quote.|chapter=
- the chapter of the dictionary where the reference pages belong.|column=
or|columns=
– the column numbers of the page being cited.|nodot=
– by default, the template adds a full stop (period) at the end of the citation. To suppress this punctuation, use|nodot=1
or|nodot=yes
.
