Template:R:DÉRom/documentation
Appearance
Usage
[edit]This template may be used in "References" and "Further reading" sections, and on talk pages, for citing the Dictionnaire Étymologique Roman website ([1]).
Parameters
[edit]The template takes the following parameters:
|1=
or|entry=
– the name of the entry on the DÉRom website. If this parameter is omitted, the name of the Wiktionary entry is used as a fallback; as Wiktionary's entry name conventions, which rely on approximation of Classical Latin orthography differ from DÉRom's, which rely on approximation of the reconstructed phonetic form.|2=
,|pos=
, or|part of speech=
– the part of speech of the entry. The template automatically adds a full stop (period) to the end.|3=
or|accessdate=
– the date when the DÉRom webpage was accessed, in one of the following formats: 1 October 2017 or October 1, 2017.|subentry=
– a term that appears as a subentry under an entry.|subpos=
– the part of speech of the subentry.|4=
,|text=
, or|passage=
– a passage quoted from the webpage.|nodot=
– by default, the template adds a full stop (period) at the end of the citation. To suppress this punctuation, use|nodot=1
or|nodot=yes
.
