This template is a clone of Template:PIE word for PIE roots and correctly categorises the given PIE entry as a root, in Category:Terms derived from Proto-Indo-European roots. It should be placed at the top of the Etymology section, before the text. This template invokes {{root|lang|ine-pro}} and displays a small box at the side with the PIE root in it.

Parameters

|1=: The language code (see Wiktionary:Languages) of the current entry's language.
|2=: The PIE root, without the *.
