Usage

[edit]

Definition of terms:

  • base: the text ruby is attached to
  • word: base+okurigana

Usage: {{JAruby|base|ruby|okurigana[|myruby]|link=link for the word}}

Link is optional and it defaults to word if not given. If it's set to empty, the link is omitted. Okurigana is also optional. Myruby indicates that the ruby was added by a Wiktionary editor and is not present in the original text.

Examples:

There's a Firefox extension for displaying rubies on top of their bases.
