Usage

This template is used to indicate the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) of a work. It is used by, among others, {{cite-meta}}.

Examples

The template takes only one parameter: the ISSN of a work.

• Result: →ISSN

Technical information

This template uses Module:check isxn to validate the ISSN. If the ISSN is not valid, a link will still be generated, but an error message will be displayed and the page on which the template is used will be added to Category:Pages with ISSN errors.
