This template creates a definition line for currency codes following the ISO 4217 standard. It categorizes terms into Category:Currency codes and Category:ISO 4217. The template is only meant to be used in the Translingual section.
Parameters
[edit]|1=(required)- The English name for the currency. This parameter automatically links to the currency's Wikipedia article.
|2=(optional)- Alternative text to display as the link title, if different from the page name.
|3=(optional)- Non-gloss definition placed after the main definition body.
|crypto=1- Specifies that the currency code is for the cryptocurrency and adds the category Category:mul:Cryptocurrency.
|fund=1- Specifies that the currency code is for a unit of account.
|hist=1- Specifies that the currency code is historical.
|obs=1- Specifies that the currency code is obsolete.
|res=1- Specifies that the currency code is reserved.
|unoff=1- Specifies that the currency code is unofficial.
|from=(optional)- Specifies the start time for the use of the currency code. Only add this is it an obsolete, historical, or updated code.
|to=(optional)- Specifies the start time for the use of the currency code. See above.
|nolink=1- Supresses the Wikipedia article link.
