May I suggest that the use of yapmak compared to the English "to do" and "to make" has nothing to do with cases. In the first example "kek" is indefinite, while in the second example "Ödevlerini" is a definite noun because it bears the possesive suffix. This is why "kek" is in the nominative and "Ödevlerini" in the accusative. Try and say "I made this cake".... — This unsigned comment was added by 158.169.9.14 (talk) at 14:08, 14 May 2009.
