Would-be Irish. I guess we could sent half of Category:Irish nouns to RFV. Are these words real or is it just that Irish is so poorly attested online? I mean, not even the whole web finds much. --Dan Polansky (talk) 21:21, 21 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Following Wiktionary:Beer_parlour#the_presence_of_Irish_and_Welsh_online, I have removed Irish and Welsh from the list of languages which are well attested online. This word may now meet the reduced CFI to which it is now subject. - -sche (discuss) 22:34, 12 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
It's used on several reputable websites, and presumably in textbooks in Ireland, but I don't have access to those. (Anyone know if this has ever appeared in print?) We need an appendix for Irish terms, which {{only in}} could then link to. - -sche (discuss) 02:00, 28 November 2012 (UTC)Reply
RFV-failed / appendicised. - -sche (discuss) 06:35, 16 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

I've restored the term because Irish is an LDL, meaning mentions are sufficient. —Aɴɢʀ (talk) 08:57, 22 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Neatly enough, the change in policy which made mentions sufficient was enacted the very day after this was deleted. - -sche (discuss) 18:21, 22 January 2014 (UTC) (I misread and misremembered. The actual update to policy was earlier, but Irish was not added to the list of LDLs until later. - -sche (discuss) 18:24, 22 January 2014 (UTC))Reply
