Not really a vote. We are just waiting for someone to show that it is used as an adjective. See Wiktionary:English adjectives. Cited, at least in a subsense: in the cite that Visviva added, and in all the cites that I could find, it's specifically describing birds. (Obviously "woodland" often appears as an attributive modifier describing things other than birds, but I'm speaking here only of clearly adjectival cites.) —Ruakh_TALK 15:13, 9 October 2010 (UTC)
