The English common name and the scientific name in the definitions as seen today describe two entirely different plants. Bulrush millet is another name for pearl millet, i.e., Pennisetum glaucum. OTOH, Eleusine coracana is most often called finger millet. From a look at Madan (1903), it may be that wimbi or uwimbi is finger millet, and the definitions should be so edited.
