[edit]@Equinox I realise it’s the same letters in a different order, but does it really make sense to list an alternative spelling as an anagram? It feels really pedantic. Theknightwho (talk) 13:44, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Theknightwho: Anagrams know nothing of meaning: just see it as a pure mathematical permutation, like 1234 and 1243. Forget any meaning of the words. Equinox ◑ 13:48, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
- @Theknightwho: For example, to a Scrabble player the difference between SEPULCHRE and SEPULCHER could be very significant (are we leaving an easy E for the other player?). And the anagrams exist for word game players among others. Equinox ◑ 13:54, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
