A funny term, but I can find hardly any evidence of this. Equinox ◑ 21:21, 14 February 2022 (UTC)
- See Citations:waterfowl alignment, but I doubt those examples are all durably archived, as they are mainly comment responses from chat groups or blogs. Cnilep (talk) 00:33, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
- Added two from Usenet that definitely count under current practice; the other online ones would require approval. There's also a dubiously valid magazine quotation, which I've added as a comment. (What's dubious is whether the quotation even appeared in the magazine, as the issue it's apparently from doesn't seem to actually include it. The usage itself is not dubious, although it is used attributively with an intermediate hyphen.) 70.172.194.25 09:12, 16 February 2022 (UTC)
- Between the two Usenet quotations and the dissertation that is archived in Proquest, I'd say this is verified. Cnilep (talk) 06:37, 24 February 2022 (UTC)
