A science-fiction sound effect? Could be real, like bloop and bleep, though the definition is vague; I find little or nothing for "vooping" and "vooped", though. Equinox 17:32, 29 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

It is a sound, but doesn't seem to be restricted to sci-fi (sound of a zipper), (sound of a mechanism), (sound of a siren, klaxxon?), (sound of a DJ spinning a record), (sound of a siren), (swish of a sword)... so it's just a sound -- 65.92.246.43 16:05, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

The ", often in a sci-fi setting." doesn't match the uses found, and should be removed. -- 65.92.246.43 16:34, 5 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
