Interesting idea, although it looks like the French expression is not related to tobacco? Another source derives it from a Hebrew tobach, but I can't find this here. – Jberkel 12:10, 24 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Solved. (First by changing the wording into "dialects of Northern Germany", then by changing the label as Northern German dialects are Low German, e.g. Ostfälisch, Mecklenburgisch-Vorpommersch, Niederpreußisch.) --Macopre (talk) 16:03, 15 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
