I'm not seeing much... who wants to cite this one? --Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 20:04, 16 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

It's apparently an obsolete name for the w:Northern fur seal, so you have to look in older books. I tracked down the quote by William Benjamin Carpenter mentioned in the entry: Popular cyclopaedia of Natural Science, Zoology(1844), v.1, p.233 [1]. I'll see what else I can dig up. Here's the Samuel Maunder one: The treasury of Natural History, or a Popular Dictionary of Animated Nature (1852), p.34:[2] (as Arctocephalus ursinus) Chuck Entz (talk) 23:05, 16 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
I've found a third quotation, but frankly I don't think the three quotations are enough: one is in italics, one is in the compound "ursal seal". - -sche (discuss) 20:38, 29 March 2012 (UTC)Reply
I added a fourth citation (and added an adjective section with citations as well). BenjaminBarrett12 (talk) 00:40, 6 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
Good work finding those! I'll mark this RFV-passed. - -sche (discuss) 10:07, 21 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
