Apparently no one believes me, but all the texts I've read have capitalized Ur-poem. I can provide examples, randomly-lowercasing moderators! 66.253.179.54 00:35, 25 February 2011 (UTC)

- Capitalised versions may possibly show confusion with the city of Ur, but surely poems from there would be Ur poems [no hyphen] cf London poems or New York poems. A quick look suggests there is indeed a second, capitalised form "Ur-poem", perhaps a tenth as common as "ur-poem", though I haven't read the context enough to be certain the meaning is the same. If you have, then if you want, add another entry for "Ur-poem", perhaps with definition 'Variant of "ur-poem"', but if you do so, I advise adding three cites to avoid it being speedy-deleted in error. --Enginear 12:58, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
