Theory of light
[edit]Chambers 1908 also defines undulatory, rather adorably, as "relating to the theory of light which considers its transmission as wave motion in a medium filling space", i.e. (I assume) light waves, which are totally uncontroversial today. So there might be a historical physics sense, though really "relating to waves" should suffice. Equinox ◑ 05:22, 17 October 2019 (UTC)
