@Smashhoof: I find the disjunctive orthography here very confusing, although it's also weird for a placename not to be in class 9. Should we have some sort of entry at Rwanda that points here? —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 02:07, 2 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Metaknowledge I've only seen u Rwanda as class 11 (although kinyarwanda.net says it's class 9). I've seen Rwanda (no augment) as class 9, but it apparently can be class 11 also, as in the old national anthem "Rwanda Rwacu" (whereas the new national anthem is "Rwanda Nziza"). It would probably be a good idea to make an entry for Rwanda and point to here. Smashhoof (Talk · Contributions) 02:21, 2 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Smashhoof: Would you be willing to create that entry? I'm just not sure how. Same with u Burundi/Burundi, I guess. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 03:06, 2 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Smashhoof: I noticed that Kirundi Wikipedia writes these as Urwanda and Uburundi, although actual usage is a bit messy — we should definitely have alt forms of some kind there as well. —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 07:01, 2 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
