Etymology 2
[edit]The adjective might actually spawn a separate article, truck patch. I also wonder if this sense is actually part of etymology 1. The garden sense seems related to things that are carted or hauled from a garden after harvest.

- No, it comes from the sense of ‘commodities for barter’, from the verb truck = trade, exchange. I have reordered things to try and make that more clear. Widsith 08:12, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Truck as a verb
