This word doesn’t exist in English language. The word tres is actually the plural of the word tre. Tre is a three-course stringed instrument similar to guitar. Cuban tre has 6 strings while Puerto Rican tre has 9. 176.88.30.224 14:17, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Invalid. Forms that "do not exist" go to RFV, but this can easily be attested from books, while it appears that tre, which you insist is the correct form for the singular, cannot. — surjection??14:55, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
Even worse, the IP seems to have done this solely in order to be able to use "tre" in the anagram sections of other entries. Anyone who knows any Spanish would immediately see that tres comes from the Spanish word for three, so "tre" would be highly unlikely. I looked for "tre" at the DRAE, and found nothing, but it does have this sense at tres. Finally, a Google books search for "treses" along with the word "instruments" turns up more than enough uses to prove this does exist in English. Chuck Entz (talk) 16:04, 16 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
