Why a red link for the french word : "transmontain" ?

"Transmontain" exists in french : Larousse du XX° siècle , 6/6 , p. 775 : "Qui est situé au-delà des monts (Vx)" ( "What is ubicated beyond the mounts (Old)") . I've never heard - or seen that word in a book , though : we much more frequently use "transalpin" ("from beyond the Alps") for that meaning, particularly when hinting at all the improvements Italy brought us along the centuries . So the italian word "tramontana" (= North wind in Italian) has been adopted in the South of France, where "tramontane" means "North wind" , although this wind does not come from over the mounts ...
