- No problem, I have the paged watched and am always intrigued when I see an early cite regarding trans stuff (1969 is definitely pretty early as transgenderism is 1965!). I definitely see the same problem at the current IA link. I guess I have two thoughts, one is that although the PDF does not load at the IA link, the PDF can be downloaded from there (if you click the down arrow file button) and then viewed so the IA link isn't totally bunk. The other thought is that a IA link isn't that important at this point since the original library page is still live and so the IA link could just be dropped. Keeping things as is, removing the IA link, or changing it to a direct link to the PDF all work for me depending on your thoughts. —The Editor's Apprentice (talk) 23:15, 21 June 2023 (UTC)

- I don't think there is enough context from the newspaper article itself to clearly interpret what is meant by "transgender identification" and that a familiarity with the play - and maybe the particular performance referenced - beyond a summary would be needed to be sure in any direction. For that reason, the quote might be better suited to just Citations:transgender rather than the main entry. If you're interested in the meanings of various terms beginning with "trans-" and their histories you may find the research website of Cristan Williams interesting. —The Editor's Apprentice (talk) 23:56, 27 July 2023 (UTC)
