scope of meaning

i suspect this can mean hysterical (of a male), rather than narrowly overwhelmed by testosterone. the whole point of the hysterical insult is that it can reduce any woman's suffering to an imagined problem of their womb, regardless of what is actually going on. thus it is not taken literally. the quotes on the citations page here suggest the same is at play with this word, since the men in question are not exhibiting brave, typically masculine behaviors. —Soap— 01:31, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
