The "zeta" in the "coordinate terms" (Latin) of "te" takes you to "#Latin", so you stay on the same page. It should go to "wiki/zeta#Latin" I don't know how to change it but it should be changed DjaroD (talk)
Italian: "te" mandatory as subject pronoun after e.g. "e"
[edit]"te" is also an alternate form of tu subject pronoun.
Colloquially, it is often used instead of tu in some dialects, but its use as subject pronoun in place of tu is also mandatory in standard Italian in some instances, e.g. after e (“and”) when used as part of a subject (not in "io faccio questo, e tu fai quello"; "I do this, and you do that").
- Tu ed io siamo amici.
- (colloquial) Te ed io siamo amici.
- You and I are friends.
- Io e te siamo amici.
Io e tu siamo amici.- I and you are friends.
I think at least the "io e te" special case in standard Italian deserves a mention.
