Sense 2: "(biology) An organism's ability to store another organism's sperm (after copulation) and fertilize its own eggs from that store after a period of time, essentially making it appear as though fertilization occurred without sperm." This one came from Wikipedia but their article seems quite dodgy. (However, previously our entry had basically 2 senses both with the sense #1 meaning. This one is new.) RFV Failed, the Wikipedia article is about "superfecundation" and doesn't mention "superfecundity" at all. Ioaxxere (talk) 02:53, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
