So how can you tell if you spelled it right?
- By reading it on the label of an audiotape published by Disney.
Alternate Definitions
[edit]I have removed the following two definitions from this article:
- The true synonym for 'fantasmical'.
- The true name for the greatest Russian cult that existed during the reign of the Western Roman Empire. Subject to argument.
My reason for doing so is that neither seem to have any basis; "fantasmical" is only defined in UrbanDictionary as far as I can tell, and there seem to be no historical references to a Russian cult by this name. If anyone out there has some evidence supporting these definitions by all means return them. TheDaveRoss 05:03, 27 Apr 2005 (UTC)
"usage notes"
[edit]It doesn't seem like these are really usage notes... more like trivia. Unless it actually has something to do with how the word is used, shouldn't it be removed? Nadando 02:47, 4 December 2007 (UTC)
Removal?
[edit]This article seriously needs to be deleted. I can imagine this article on urbandictionary, but in an actual dictionary? Not only is it a ""fictituous word", nobody actually uses t in real life. It was used by mary poppins, a fictional character, but not in reality, therefore it does not deserve an article on a dictionary. 206.248.167.220 23:23, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Etymology:
- super- + cali- + fragilistic- + expiali- + doc + -ious
That are very misleading links. Much better:
- super- + cali(bre) + fragil(e) + -istic + expia(te) + -li- + doc(ile) + -ious

- That etymology looks entirely speculative to me. — SGconlaw (talk) 07:19, 4 May 2018 (UTC)
- The entry states "Likely formed from". Maybe "Maybe formed from" is better, as maybe is weaker than likely. -84.161.20.5 05:00, 5 May 2018 (UTC)
