The quotations from before 2015 are obviously not using it in the current politically controversial sense of specifically not being attracted to transgender people. Even the 2015 cite is using it in a completely different and potentially opposing way; it appears to be referring to gay/bisexual men who act in a stereotypically straight way, which hardly supports the definition given.

The 2021 quotations are valid in terms of meaning, although I don't know if they are technically durably archived by our standards for sources. I suspect Snopes is not at least. Anyway, this should be tagged with {{hot word}} or {{hot sense}} unless something from the past month can be found to support it. 70.172.194.25 01:25, 21 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
