- Hi, the etymology looks plausible to me however I have never heard of the word we should probably mark it obsolete or poetic. The word "suntur" seems to be recorded and the derivation of "sunturlu" is directly from that instead of "santur". What kind of corruption occured with "suntur" I am unsure. a--> o/u is not regular. "Suntur" may not be a product of public speakers at all and "santur" in this case may be a reborrowing as well.--Anylai (talk) 17:45, 29 July 2018 (UTC)
