Missing part of speech heading. --Connel MacKenzie T C 04:40, 15 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's a noun. Lojban speakers generally don't talk in terms of traditional parts of speech. The Lojban POS of the word sumti is sumti, but more precisely, since sumti are words (or groups of words), sumti itself is a noun. Added POS and removed RFC. Rod (A. Smith) 06:15, 15 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

BTW, I also cleaned up the other Lojban grammar terms (brivla, bridi, rafsi, cmavo, lujvo, and tanru). Let me know if they're not yet clear. Rod (A. Smith) 07:05, 15 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

I have added three citations, but I am not sure which definition they should go with. The parameter/argument distinction can be a subtle one, because they amount to much the same thing, just looked at from different perspectives. Kiwima (talk) 23:34, 4 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I think I have both definitions cited, but I am not entirely sure (as I said, I find the parameter/argument distinction can be subtle when evaluating uses). I would appreciate if someone else also took a look at it. If we need more, there are more possible documents on Google scholar. Kiwima (talk) 00:04, 5 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
