The etymology of suffer should not be "suffer" (see the last word under Latin). Very circular.
- You’ve misunderstood. That word is not part of the etymology, it is the meaning of the Latin verb suffero. It’s a translation, not an etymon. —Stephen 02:15, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
