Talk:succor

I hear this word pronounced like "sucker" lately but I've heard it pronounced "soo-ker" much more often in the past. A character in the Simpson's tv show pronounced it as "soo-ker" as well and those writers went to ivy league colleges.

There are pronunciations at succour, but it doesn't include "soo-ker". Nor could I quickly find it in other dictionaries. ←₰-→ Lingo ^Bingo _Dingo (talk) 09:13, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
