Stud must have also another meaning.
I searched for studs from :"is securely fastened to one set of studs" found in canadian construction code, clearly not related to animals.
Tks for completing the article with other means of this word.

I assume that's one of the senses we already have either "A small object that protrudes from something" or "A vertical post". (Did you forget to scroll down?) —RuakhTALK 15:50, 12 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Roblox studs

[edit]

The videogame platform Roblox has a thing called studs. A stud is 28 centimeters (11.0236 inches). I have two main sources: this question asked on Reddit, and this comment on a different post on Reddit confirming one of the answers to the previous question. My main issue is with the formatting on Wiktionary. Can someone help me with adding this definition to Wiktonary? Kamenûk (talk) 00:52, 31 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

For future reference, people don't regularly check talk pages like these; you'll have better luck asking at the Tea Room.
Video game terms which don't meet our regular criteria for inclusion are included in appendices (see, for example, Appendix:Plants vs. Zombies), but you might want to ask at the Tea Room before you make a new appendix. -saph668 (usertalkcontribs) 01:03, 31 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
